What size shot do you guys use for turkeys?  I'm shooting a 12 gauge with  3 1/2" shells.

10ga. 3-1/2" #5 shot, they pattern the best in my shotgun.

I bought the 3 1/2" rem 870, haven't hunted with a mag load yet, I had two boxes of 2 3/4" no.4's. They are devestating out to 45 yards with it. I have shot a few mags through it but they seem to be less consistant. May be just me waiting for the recoil.lol But they aren't any more dense than the smaller shells. Just my experience. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
On a side note my friends son wanted a gun like mine so he found one, a beauty with a scope and sling, bit of advice, watch out for scope eye, lol. He got all settled in and braced up against a tree. That 3 1/2" mag no.4 I gave him to try just slammed him hard and split him open about two inches. He uses 2 3/4" now, has taken two real nice birds with it.
Sometimes I think we all have to learn to keep that macho man quiet in us and use what works. Not that the mag loads don't have their place.

10ga #5, if you don't call very well (like me) it's nice to have a long shot option. I might try to pattern it with #4 next year for a little more power retention.

i also bought the 3 1/2" inch Remington 870 super mag. When i first started there they started making that model, i thought to myself i have to have one of those. WRONG!!!!! After coming out of a laydown blind a few times  i figured out in a hurry that i didn't need the 3.5s. Well anyway i use 3" winchester suprime 5s

I haven't looked at a lay down blind up close. How do you shoot a turkey laying down? You really don't need a 3.5" 12 or 10 for them either, my father gets his birds every year with 3" #5's. I would have my girlfriend use her 16ga but no one makes chokes or loads for them.

Plenty of 16ga loads out there, but none up in the 1.75 ounce and above range which most people tend to use for turkey.  If you're willing to do some reloading, I bet someone over at 16ga.com already has a turkey load worked up.
