Our taxidermist does a nice job but takes a loooooonnnnnngggg time to get the mounts back to us. Ususally by the time he gets it back to us he charges less than the already cheap price, so I guess it works out o.k. If we bring him a cape, he gives us the euro mount on a plaque pretty much for free . I can't wait to get it back...
Hey HG and MtLion,I'm not sure who you use for your taxidermy, but I take all my stuff to Andres Taxidermy off Airport Road just off Springhill. I used to live in his same subdivision when I was in Bozeman.I haven't found anyone who does better work.Just an FYI, he's done all my stuff for the last ten or so years and I can't be happier.I think he's done at least ten to twelve shoulder mounts for me and they all look great.Just thought I'd give you a heads-up in case you didn't know about him.His name is Jerry and he's a great guy.
why didnt u shoot the buck
You and your husband remind me of the perfect hunting lodge owners. When you gonna open up your own hunting lodge and ranch. You certainly have the experience and know how.
