Quiet day at camp yesterday.  Caught some pannies, swam with kids.  Took the wife for a jetski ride at sunset - sis-in-law's new machine is sweet!

If I remember right, that's a sea robin. I think they're poisonous or have nasty barbs.

Feeling a little old today. Daughter was married yesterday at 3. Was a good day, and she looked spectacular.
But gained a son, who I couldn't have hand picked a better guy for her.
But did have an issue at the health center and had them file a complaint on me. So guess it was still just another day in my life...

Good day for the most part yesterday.  Classic camp breakfast of leftover fired salt potatoes, steak, and eggs -

Headed over at noon to my uncle's place on the St. Lawrence for the rest of the day.  Old school Amish wheat stacking along the way -




Took out the boat to find some perch, and see where they bought their new house.   My uncle let Phillip drive a boat for the first time on the way back -




His sister thought his driving was OK -




Had chicken fingers and handcut fries done in the fryer outside for dinner.  Walked a few places down, and watched the Town of Lisbon Homecoming Days fireworks from two miles way across the water.  Breeze was just strong enough that we could only hear the really big booms.  Tossed the kids in the car, and headed for home.  Thought we heard a whistling noise like the driver's side window wasn't all of the day up, so I cycled it a few times trying to get it to seal.  THUNK!  It decided to pop off of the track again.      I thnk last time it did that, it took my bro0in-law (a bus mechanic) and I 2 hours with proper tools to tear the door apart, and fix it.  Now I'm by myself with limited tools at camp.  Gonna be a long, wet ride home today......

Pretty much rain all day.  Was able to shimmy the window up, so quiet trip home.  Real heavy rain around Fair Haven - sounds like we may have missed spme nasty wind or small tornado that was ~15 miles south near Savannah.

Today is the wife's birthday, and our anniversary. I was thinking it was the 25TH.....but she informed me it was only 24.....not that she is counting....
Can you imagine 24 years with me.....god she must be a saint!!! Hope he takes her patience and tolerance into consideration, and rewards her with the riches she so deserves...
