LOL....They do....High speed photos show they can drop over 12" to start their escape. That's why quiet is better than fast any day.  ;)

Here's a few more videos from the last batch. The first one was taken right after the bobbing buck, so there must have been two together. The second one is dark but it is two or three bucks.

I thought it wasn't growing, doesn't look like it's getting a chance to though.

I think your "lawn mower's" are stunting it. You have a couple with some nice potential.

Try fencing a 2' round in it to see how badly they are mowing it. Bet it will show you could double it easy.

I actually have an old piece of fence down, but if off on the edge where it isn't growing as well. I may move it next time I go out. I'll probably end up with a picture of it stuck in a bucks antlers.

I know there are older deer on the property I just don't see them on stand, yet. I'll get them figured out eventually, I'm getting a little closer every year.

StKA--- I just bought a trail cam and was wondering how long between shots should I set my camera for ?? It can be 15,30 sec. or  1min. or more between shots.  Any help from anyone would be very much appreciated .  Gunner

I like to set mine to 1 minute, I also have it set on 3 shots per trigger. If you have it set up in a place where the deer might be hanging around a lot like a food plot you might want to go with a longer wait to cut back on pictures of the same deer walking around for ten minutes. I don't mind looking through a lot of pictures and have 2 gigabyte SD cards in mine so they can hold 2000 pictures. I also don't recommend checking them to often. That's something we all do when we first start using them, 2 weeks seems like a good wait, but it'll take a little playing with to get it set up how you want it. Watch out for weeds and small branches that will sway in the wind and trigger the camera. About 4 feet high seems to be a good height. It's not uncommon for my cameras to have no pictures for a few days straight, even in a great spot like I have them now. Good luck, I look forward to seeing some of your pictures.

Here's a bunch from the last set. Some of the bucks look like they have some age on them but are hard to tell apart at this point.

And one video, nice buck at the end.
