Surprised at the lack of acorns around me in central Maine given the summer we had, what are others seeing?

I am currently hunting expanded archery in Westbrook . I have found lots of acorns so I set up a tree stand next to one . It turns out to be a good spot. I put a camera up and have had 3 Deer show up. A Doe , fawn and a 4 point Buck.
