Good luck to everyone taking out a youth today. Shoot a big one and keep hunting a family tradition for years to come! Hopefully we get some pictures in here if anyone gets one! :)

Home for lunch. Had a little excitement this morning. We had two partridge fly right at us down a trail. One landed in a tree about 20 feet away. Thinking that something may have jumped them up, we hung tight for a few minutes. Within five minutes a deer jumped up and ran. Couldn't see it but it ran a big circle and we thought it was coming right back at us, until it just stopped then nothing. We stayed right there for a while but it must have figured out where we were and slinked away. Back at it this afternoon!

its tempting but no still couldnt, I do have a problem hitting the 200 lb. club though always get stuck somewhere in the 180s-190s

Congrats MDH!!! Been 25 years here. Sure sometimes it's a lot of work, but most things worth keeping are.
You'll make an excellent teacher when the time comes to get your little ones out.
Congrats to those having success and good luck to those still out there enjoying the woods!!
