cool info...  I have pulled many  engorged ticks off of myself and never really thought twice about it. I have never been sick from it, but my cousin, who is a strong dude was laid up for quite a while when he had lyme disease so it is not something to screw around with but certainly nothing to get too worried about.  I just assumed the bugs were all ticks  my deer was loaded with them and most of my friends also it seems more likely they were keds .

As long as you don't get a bulls eye rash at the site of the bite.  Keep an eye on it and see your doctor at the first sign of a rash.  Good luck.  I hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about.

the best thing to know about tick bites....is there a bullseye ring around the bite...mine has healed up just fine....but very good info for future seasons....
I buy a SuperSportsman to put meat in the freezer...
