nose oil quieter

a buddy of mine told me once that another guy told him that if you take your finger and rub it in the crevace in between your nose and your eye, that there is an oil there that u can rub on your arrow rest, so that it does not squeak, if anyone knows of this please let me know, I have tried it, and I don't know if it really worked that well thanks

LMAO!!  It sure does!  I did this every day for the first two weeks of this years season and it works.  I shoot a TM hunter style rest one on the shrink tubings on the rest prong wore through.  I didn't have anymore in my kit and didn't get to an archery shop to pick up some more for a few weeks, so I made do.  It's funny to hear someone else mention it too!

The other thing my dad always told me is before you put a two piece fishing rod together take the male end and rub it beside your nose at the same place so when you want to take it appart its alot easier

ive heard those before but never tried i use mostly 1 peice poles and have a whisker biskite

Yes its true. my grandfather showed me that trick when i was about 5 years old when he gave me a brand new 2 piece fishing pole.

i get more oil on my forehead so i'll try that...seems like it'd work
