I personally prefer an older model savage 110 long action in .308 for a number of reasons, First and foremost they are accurate right out of the box and they are not bad priced. Second getting parts for repair and or modifications is easy. Lastly I just like the way one can make them shoot. Here is a picture of mine.

Went to Eastern Nebraska opening week of deer season camped out and hunted public land.  Ended up being a pretty tough hunt with 90 degree weather, really bad chiggers, and tons of standing dry corn and yellowing beans. Deer were pretty much bedding and feeding in the corn. Just about all the deer we saw were coming out of the standing corn. If I came out here again I would wait till late October early November when a lot of the crops will be out be a completely different ball game.

Ended up having a 8 pointer come in on the 4th night and I decided to take it as it was the second buck I had seen in range during the trip and by far the biggest.

Still amazed by how big the deers bodies are here seems not uncommon to shoot deer over the 300 lb range here. This buck dressed out at 208 lbs my second buck to go over 200 first with a bow.

A delightful angelic little boy was waiting for his mother outside the ladies room of the gas station

As he stood there, he was approached by a man who asked, "Sonny, can you tell me where the Post Office is?

The little boy replied, "Sure! Just go straight down this street two blocks and turn to your right.  It's on the left.

The man thanked the boy kindly, complimented him on how bright he was and said, "I'm the new pastor in town. If you and your mommy come to church on Sunday, I'll show you how to get to Heaven.

The little boy replied with a chuckle, "You're s&#**ing me, right?  You can't even find the Post Office!

I have 2 new puppies and I'm thinking to buy a playpen for them. As I was searching online, I saw these dog playpens which can provide your puppies with a safe and adjustable space of their own. It features a top and side opening that provides an easy access to your pet. This dog playpen also includes an adjustable floor that will keep your dogs clean and elevated. With its lightweight and easy to fold feature, you can just carry, transport and store it without exerting too much effort. What do you think guys? do you have any suggestions for the right playpen for my pups?
