Title: FINALLY!!!!!

It was Finally my last early morning getting up!  :P He wasn't the one I wanted but, the only safe shot. A little over 14lbs with a 4 1/2 beard. baby spurs! 1/8.  :-\  Wasn't what I hoped to shoot....seen better/bigger birds but just excited to kill one! I guess its not a bad way to start my first year of hunting ever!(my first kill) Ready for the next season, BRING IT ON! Can anyone say TURKEY fry for the party!?!  :laugh:

Congratulations on your first harvest! Just because it's not the biggest bird in the woods dosen't mean it's not a Trophy. Wish Amy and I could make the party so we could finally meet MDH and Yourself in person but already have vacation planned for following 2 weeks at camp. amy's family has a house in Friendship i'll have to drop  you guys a line next time we are going to be there.  Keep shooting-Deer season isn't far away!!!  Harrie
