| Ohio public hunt success |

Spent a week in Ohio on public ground bowhunting. Got a doe Monday and was fortunate enough to take this beautiful buck Wednesday morning. Took my time getting to the stand sat down at 7:30am grunted a couple times and he walked right to me at 7:45 15yds quartering too, snuck the arrow just in front of the shoulder and took out both lungs. Track job was hard he didnt bleed a drop just was filling the cavity but only went 80 yds and was laying just about where I last saw him. This was my first time hunting Ohio and I will definitely be back. We scored him in camp and grossed score at 159 6/8" I will have him officially scored when I get back to new york. |
