Pic from the past
« on: Feb 15, 2013, 10:46:27 AM »
I was sent this photo from a relative who had it posted in the Ohio outdoor news.pictured are my grandpa on the right, and my dad kneeling beside my grandpa and dads brothers.I remember dad commenting about this photo many years ago,he said that seeing a deer back then was rare, let alone shooting any.He told me that folks traveled many miles to see these deer. Many folks had never seen a deer, made them local Heros at the time.only one member of the party is alive today,(he sent me the photo)I'm pretty sure he knew I would not let this proud moment in their history fade away. Maybe someone will recognize his pic or name in the artical and let him know it still lives on.

That was back when there wasn't as much human influence, they weren't driving deer away from their habitat! ???
