maineduckhunter, thanks for the close up pic. I trapped 1 of those the other day, and was not sure what it was. He / she was helping itself to too many fish from my pond. Does anyone know if relocated , do they try to return the few miles to where it was caught or just adapt to the new surroundings, ( same type of terrain, big pond, and some woods). BTW while carrying the trap over to my pickup, this thing let out quite a high pitch scream or squeal, kinda sounded like one of those bottle rockets from the 4th . And what a stink this thing had...musky kind of smell, I am guessing a male ?
