thanks everyone, didn't go out this morning due to the thunder and lightining mixed with terrential rain. until sat.

I don't blame you. Been there, done that. Sloppy fields, rain and thunder take a lot of the fun out of it for sure!

Well we ended up getting enough rain to fill up the local swamps near our usual hunting spots. this made it a little sloppy in the fields. but it helped get the birds back in the area. only a few birds here and there until today. Lots of birds in the sky today and we had a neighboring farm with a few hunters that helped keep the birds up on out of the fresh cut fields. It started out slow but we ended with 18 birds between ms.hick and I. all and all a good day. we will be back tomorow.

those are just our standards as we call them. usually only put these out durint the first two weekends until the migrators start to show up. just a bunch of big foots and such. tomorrow we are gonna bust out the FFD's
