USMC130's first Bow Buck

This is my First Buck that I harvested with my bow

Then was fortunate to harvest this one a year ago

2 Deer in 2 days  The 8pt was @37yds and the 4pt was 23yds.
Mathews and Muzzy's= a Deadly combination  8)

I've been lucky to be blessed by the Whitetail Gods!!!

Great pix USMC and the pics are not too bad for size . I used to post some monsters .LOL ;D I feel for you bud since your going to be gone for the hunt this year or will you get some leave to go .? :'( I hope so . I know you have some pretty long seasons .

Thanks USMC....after many does he was my first buck.
I got a late start in life, but I'm catching up!
He was 210# dressed with 9 points. The biggest in camp that year.
I am 6 foot 2 and 300# so he looks somewhat smaller than he should.

Thanks Guys.  Venisonman, good job with the buck.  I've put quite a few Doe's on the ground myself and will continue to do so.  Its a nice treat to get a shot at one with decent headgear.  Good luck in the up comming seasons to all.

Treed,  thanks man.
I took the first one in Illinois when stationed there and the other one was here in NY.  I've had some real shooter within bow range and just could not get a good shot, frustrating as hell but thats what I love about it so much.  Its all in the excitement!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my confirmation for class today at Ft Belvoir so providing I shoot well enough, I'll be on Belvoir this fall doing some deer hunting.   Do you know anything about Quantico and hunting?
