Here's a pic of two bucks my buddy and I shot a day apart last year.

I passed up the muley and let him shoot, then shot the whitey the next day.

Very dumb decision on my part.

This is a buck that I shot in '05 that's in my avatar. I loved the double brow-tines and the symmetry on the deer.

Probably one of my most favorite mounts. The picture isn't real good, but that's what happens when you're by yourself.

My buddy with two bucks we shot about an hour apart in '04. Mine's on the right, his is on the left.

Not huge but there were only two days left in the season so my standards were rapidly descending.

It's all or nothing for me this year.

My daughter is starting her second year of hunting so I'm sure there'll be plenty of venison in the freezer with her hunting.

Going to have to hold out for a super-hawg or nothing I think, but that's not bad either, I guess.

I usually take the last ten days off to hunt the big guys when the rut is in full swing.

Usually have a dead elk by then so it's strictly deer hunting and maybe elk hunting with a few buddies who haven't tagged one yet.

I'm envious, three weeks would be awesome, I'd go every single day.

05 8 pt. 12 ga. 80 yd shot from a tree stand

06 10 pt. 12 ga. 40 yd shot from same tree stand. I called him in after spotting him a distance away. He weighed in at 205 lb.

Cant wait till this season!

Here's a pic of my buddy and his dad in 2005. The one of the left was 225 and the buck on the right was around 180lbs. Taken on the last day of the Maine season. I think the deer on the right was 200 yard + shot-the old man still has it.
