I'm in west central Wisconsin. I never got the backstraps cooked. Hell, I didn't even get the whole thing cut up cause my girlfriends dad called for me to help him track one that it turns out he missed, which is unusual for him

Well hopefully soon you'll be eating those tender and yummy back straps. You're a good man for helping a fellow hunter track a deer. I've been on both ends of that stick. Good luck throughout the rest of the season
