Well haven't posted here in awhile and thought I would check in to see how everyone was doing. Seems to be some good deer activity around locally which is always a good sign. I have had my cam's out about 2 months now and like what I am seeing near one of my stands
Thought I would share with you all some of what I have caught on camera to this point. Now the time/date stamp is off on this cam because like a dope I foregot to set it.
It don't matter at this point anyways but now it is set up right. Most mature bucks are going to be nocturnal for the most part this time of year anyways, but you will catch them in the daytime at some point. The big eight in these photo's I have only caught at night but the yonger one is not shy at all and is running with another younger buck. You know if I see the younger buck during the archery season I am going to wait, cuz the other buck shoudn't be to far behind.
This is the younger eight running with a four pointer.
Also have a Mamma with her Fawns.
Here is the forkhorn running with the eight.
I have another cam set up about 500 yards from this one up on a ridge that I believe the big eight may be holding up during the daylight hours. We have 5 ladder stands in the area and the ridge stand looks like it could produce this nice buck, we'll see! Oh ya, this is my property!
Wish you all the best for the up coming season it should be a good one.
