Now there's something you don't see every day.  :o Great pictures. That's a good size bear, good and healthy, and fairly close! You did well to get the camera out in time.  8)

wow tgf, some of the pictures you have are simply amazing, i would love to be able to live where you live.

Had some turkeys on my lawn yesterday

There were these two Toms and three Jakes all puffed up earlier, but I didn't catch that one on film.

I went to get a cup of coffee this morning and happened to see a few turkeys in my yard.

   

   

I think they're camera shy, they don't stick around too long once they realize you're taking their picture.

Now if I only had this kind of luck with deer showing up.  :-\

Here's a couple I posted this summer on MyFishFinder. The first is a moose posing next to a "Moose Crossing" sign. The second is a bear that was having his way with a camp porch as we trolled by in the boat.
