She helped me by helping me pull on the hoist chain to lift the deer up.   You should have seen her when I got home. I said Daddy's got a deer and she went flying out to the garage going where's the deer? where's the deer?   I can't wait till she's old enough to take her out in the woods hunting.

5 pointer I shot this morning at at 7am.  He came out of some thick stuff at 40 yards. I got him through both lungs and he still managed to run about 40 yards.  He weighed 135 lbs.  Since my freezer is already full from my previous 2 deer, I am donating the meet to the hunters for the hungry where it will be ground up and donated to the local food pantries.




My daughter just loves deer. She also loves her orange hunter hat I gave her too.  ;D
