Title: New Brunswick bull moose

Here In Nb Canada we have a lottery based 3 day moose season, id finally got my tag after 10 years applying. Shot this bad boy an hour and a bit before dark on the first day, he came crashing into anafter old beaver dam after my good friend Sam called him in, shot at about 100-120 yrds with a browning xbolt .308 with 165 gr bullets...23 points estimated field dressed by natural resources at or over 800lbs

48 inches at widest point, the .308 dropped him like a bag of hammers, quartering twrds shot hit him in the hump and broke his shoulder, took a shot to the neck to finish him but he wasn't going anywhere..im sure he woulda been done shortly but I had the shot as he kept lifting his head so I put another one in him to make sure he wouldn't get up
