oh yea there will be tons of time to hunt. I can't wait. I'm waiting to hear where my first permanent assignment will be. I'm thinking green haven or if all the stars align ill go to Greene (fingers crossed). Today was interesting for my first day. Kinda boring just some paperwork and a very brief facility tour. Wednesday is when I'll really get my feet wet

on day 1 my FTO told me to forget everything I learned and do what he did. Fair, firm and consistent goes a long way.

Can't wait to hear the stories. I miss it sometimes but glad I left when I did.

           Good luck w/your new job. When I worked for a construction co., we did some jobs @ prisons, the CO's did a good job to keep the inmates in line. Better you than me. ;D

Thanks guys! Today I was involved in some basic stuff and got a good amount of inmate interaction. Yep just about forget everything the academy taught they told us. And you're 100% right about firm fair and consistent, from the little bit I've seen so far it seems to hold true. Tomorrow definitely should be interesting.

What type of housing are you working in? Tiers? I was county so we only has PODs so they were out all the time.
