D Man, that actually the front yard, about 200 yards from the house.

Wow! I'd also like to volunteer my services as a hunting partner...

Was scouting around my stand saturday and found lots of tracks plus a small sapling had been recently rubbed. Sunday while turkey hunting we saw a total of 6 deer. 4 does, 1 button buck and one that was too far away to be identified good. I am really getting excited for southern zone bow to start.

While turkey hunting yesterday I did some scouting. A lot of leaves fell off the trees early on the farm this year. Some big tracks and lots of small deer tracks. My trail camera had 18 pictures on it in 1 week.  :o No rubs or scrapes found yet. I have been seeing rubs and scrapes up north though. Lots of acorns and hickory nuts on the ground. Deer seem to have a really good food supply this fall.

alot of acorns around here too adk.....apple trees put out a good supply of food too.  one tree in particular on our property had 1/2 dozen good piles of deer dung nearby and acorn caps galore under the oaks.  I'm psyched

Good luck to you too
