Sorry for the delay about telling the story out there! Been taking care of my feet from the miles we put on today. Went to one location where it was just too large and too crowded for our liking. But got some exercise anyway. Was nice to meet tony and sam by the way. On the second place we went to around 9am it would have been where we should've hit first. 5 cars were In there and there was plenty of room. To walk around flat, and a good wood patch the dog would've got some flushes in for sure. we walked in there a piece and come to a low clover patch about 3 steps away all of the sudden a hen cackled and took off toward a center patch of trees. dad got one shot and I got two shots off on it and saw it land in the trees. went in after it in the chest high grass finally keep pushing until I poked through after hearing 2 shots thinking my hen just bought it. But I saw a dog on the other side and said hello I'm coming out of the woodline at your dog and started to talk to the guy. And then his dog goes on point in the same angle I pushed through after it. The guy said if it goes right you take it I won't have a shot I said yes sir and sure enough peppered it! I couldn't thank the guy enough ! But after the miles walked today I think ill be crashing early! Hope the duck guys and the bow hunters. Connected today!
