What part of the province are you hunting?  What calls are you using?

yes last year was very good with 40 plus dogs and foxes.hunting mostly southren manitoba.as for calls anything that sounds like it is dying. going to try a decoy set up this year.

Welcome to the site thedeerhunter1982. Do you have a high wolf population in your area?

Wolves are more in central Manitoba and North, there would be some on the East side of the province too. But not a high population in the South.

no i haven't seen a wolf yet but the park i only 1 hour away i am sure there is some cross breeding going on .but this spring when i was setting up for snows one morning when i pulled in to my spot there were 4 of the largest coyotes i have ever seen 70 plus lbs i am glad i was just getting there and not in the middle of a dark Field without my gun. could have been worse but now i know. i hope to post the pictures of them in DEC hanging on my wall. lol
