Id say the DNR is accurate with that buck being a 2 1/2.  Not real massive.   IMO none of those trail cam bucks are over 2 1/2.  Do deer get scoliosis??  Cuz that messed up 7 looks like he has it!  He is a 2 1/2 for sure.

I know he's not huge racked but the body(sagging belly) and sway back made me think maybe he was a little older. I'm no trophy hunter by any means, but I've passed on several fork horns the last few years and it looks as though it's paying off.

the moose here do the same thing....they route a circle in their home range and keep comin back thru to let the browse grow back or to leave some for their next run thru.....
