Maryland Buck 07

Shot this buck with a muzzleloader on November 27th.  He came down the hill across from where my stand was chasing five does. He presented me with a forty yard shot. Biggest so far in my life.

 No it's been killing me to find out. I should have pre-measured it before I took him to the taxidermist. I have to give it sixty days of dry time which would be the 27th of this month. If he scores more than 130 B&C he will be in the record books through Longhunter. That's specifically for game harvested with a muzzleloader. Unfortunately, the taxidermist will not be done until May or June. He had 54 deer come in before this one. Should be a record in Frederick County this year.

Thanks TR19 and BoneHead. I agree with you BoneHead. If I had to guess I would say he's close to a 150 class. Can not wait to find out officially.

Really nice buck!! I think you're going to be right around 140 class, we had a guy at work shoot a tall tined 8 point with a 21 3/4" spread, green scored right about 130, just lacked the mass needed to rack up major inches.
