Early Canadian Opener
« on: Aug 30, 2007, 08:42:49 PM »
I am heading out Sunday morning for early goose. I will be hunting over a small pothole that the geese like to roost in later in the year. Waiting for some corn to get cut first so I can get out in some fields, but so far, most of it is still standing. I scouted the pothole this evening and never did see any geese come in to land to roost. I did however see a 30 pack at about 8 pm but they flew low, honked a few times, and continued on. Hopefully with a few decoys, I can lure a few flybys in to stop and feed a while.Any one have any advice?  ???
Say Fred, you go up that ridge......and I'll go down in the swamp.....we'll get that buck. -The Nuge
