Heck of a buck. Congrats to him.

Sweet ... congrats on a beauty..... especially with the bow.
I was in Allegany County in SW NY and the guy across the street from us shot a monster 11 point .... scored 150ish or so. It was a similar situation with numerous trail cam sightings and they even found sheds from him but had never seen him live. I have pics but have been sick as a dog and havent felt like dealing with posting them but will soon.
My only thought when i saw it was what a shame it wasn't a bow kill ........ the guy shot it on the run, broke its back or spine or something and then had to put it down.
Every year around this time after a couple days with the gun i realize how much i like bow hunting 8)

Purdy Buck for sure.

Do it .... you'll be glad you did ;) ...... it is a completely different experience ... not to mention it allows you to hunt areas you can't with a gun.
I live in suburbia ...... in a shotgun zone... 1/4 mile away is the line for a large bow only area so even during gun season i spend most of time in the woods with the bow ..... more deer, less people and a better shot at a trophy. Beyond that once gun opens the majority of the bow hunters disappear :o
