Thanks! That was my Aunts best buck. Only one she ever had mounted. Sadly it fell apart, and my uncle just hung the antlers in the garage.....
They just didn't put that much stock in the trophy of the deer....just the meat..

Some more done this morning...took a while since I was doing an intro to officer test as well.....
OK so the hunting party that took my mom and aunt out was usually my uncles, and father, and a couple guys that guided with my grandfather in the early 1900's.
I'll post the rest and do some narration after....
First is my Great grandfather with a couple "sports"....LOL They hired him to guide them back in the woods for hunting and hiking and fishing. Those were taken in the Ross pond area, around 1940....when he was in his 70's and still guiding with gramp and Dad for the O'Keefes. He always had a pipe in his mouth....
My gramps with a couple local guides, Bill Harvey and Tony Deepe. They guided together and for themselves for a lot of years around here. This was a treat to go down around Argyle and hunt pheasant...the rich mans bird they called it....
Couple of my dads trapping days as a youth, he was around 12 in the one of him and gramp. So 1936 or so....good money for a kid...
Then a couple from the 70's when I started hunting with the family, my uncles and Dad and cousin with a spike. Then my brothers best friend growing up with a good 10 point.

Thanks!! Sure is fun going through the old pictures. Wish I had a better computer so it would go faster though....
A spike I shot opening day of gun in '99, then a picture of my oldest brothers first rack buck in 1970, and then a coyote I shot in my Mom and Dads field. Yes I know it's out of season, but it looked like it was rabid with terrible mange. This picture is right after it dropped, looks like the thing is half decomposed....
