Does this buck really gross score 146

This is my brother in law, he won the
whitetail classic with this one in 2006, was 158 6/8"  I saw one bigger than this the year before, same area. I also helped score a 144" last year for a friend and I can tell you that one, Yours will score better and two, If this guy has a score sheet I would like to see it. It is a nice buck, but not 140 class.

ok so quick green score done by the taxidermist is 139" more than I estimated. I sat down with the tape and antlers, gross was 130" net 126 5/8. I think the tax man added something wrong.

beautiful buck no matter what!  I don't see deer like that let alone bag any.  It's a wall hanger and will put alot of meat in the freezer so I guess I don't understand what the problem is!!  Again, Great buck!!!

Where did the picture of this wanna be 140" go?  I gotta see this.  By the way nice bucks upstate I remember seeing your brother in laws that's a beauty.  What do you consider upstate?  I'm from Malone.

Congrats on your Deer . Now comes the Advice, Every time you get a deer there will be someone who will dispute something, weather it be weight, overall size, antler score etc. You have to let it go, there will be more deer, bigger, smaller. There's always stuff you can't see in a Picture that can turn around and bite you. Do I think your deer would score more....yes but who cares. Thats your memory, your special time that no one can take away. Don't tarnish it with a bet. I say these things because I have been caught up in my deer was bigger than yours and one guy won a weight pool one time and we came to find out that he never actually weighed it but quessed the weight which happened to be about 5 pounds more than the next guy. If this guy thinks he has a 146 B&C, good for him, he's the one who has to live with himself. In the end, you just have to be happy with what you got. Your deer is awesome. Again Congrats. Hunta nice buck conrats. I have seen this pic before either on this website or another site. I think whoever posted it was a good friend of yours. I will say he will net in the mid to upper 140's.

Thanks guys, Yes it hasd been posted on here before. It scored out at 149 1/4" is what the paperwork said. It is my best buck to date and can't wait for this coming season. I have caught a few pictures with a trail camera of one that has a nicer rack then this one and and seems to hang around the small plot of woods I hunt in southern maine. The best assets to this mount is the dark colored antlers.

I get my buck back from the taxidermist next month,will post the pics when I do.The .280 blew a big hole in his neck,but the taxidermist threw in a (hole less) hide for free.Hope it is around the same size as the original.I cant wait for this season!!!

The more I look at the pic of the first buck, the smaller I think it is. I think the picture is deceiving because of how close the camera was, any more picture of it? I woulld take up that bet with him, let me know if you need the cash flow to do it LOL!

I should of taken him up on his offer,but didnt.He is a fishing guide on the Susqueahanna river.I was boasting how I would beat anybody on the river (including guides) for a limit of bass,he took me up on the offer.We bet $100 and he lost,so he hates me.
