Which State?

Just interested which state has the longest deer season and which has the most bag limit on deer? ???
Any day in the woods or on the water is better than ANY day at work.

Southeastern part of South Carolina opens august 15th and runs till January 1st....5 doe a season with unlimited buck...

Marylands from first Friday after Labor Day till January 31st  One buck per season plus u can buy s bonus buck tag. In region B its unlimited doe gun and muzzleloader its 10 doe.  In two counties they are extending the season into March and it's all gun from jan 31st.

I wonder why if they have such a long season, why they don't have much activity on this site. Is it hard to find areas to hunt there?

i think there used to be a young guy from Maryland on the site ....BUT ...... because of very liberal limits and baiting being allowed in Maryland he caught a TON of flack from some of the ELITE members on this site....... so I think the guy with a screen name DROBS dropped out..... again hunter in fighting did the job for the ANTIS !!!!

If that is true, that sucks. We shouldn't be fighting with one another. As long as you are abiding by the game laws in the areas that you are hunting no one should be giving anyone a hard time.

Its to bad to, He seemed like a good guy and didn't do anything he wasn't suppose to. I always enjoyed his posts. Not sure why other hunters need to judge the way other people hunt. Its not like baiting is really all that much of a advantage, especially if a fair amount of people around you are also baiting.

Arkansas' deer season runs from Sept 27 to Feb 28...

Florida's is potentially from Aug 2 to  Feb 22
