Moose'n time!!!!

 ;D I'm going moose'n this week ;D, I'm leaveing either wedenday evening or thursday morning ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I have been thinking about the spots I want try, and if we don't find a moose on our lake then we might hope over to another lake for a day and night (advantage of our own plane, and personal commcial pilot). I am just antsy for the hunt ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We've had 4 moose car collisions in the Adirondacks in the last week. Hopefully soon, NY will have moose hunts of its own.  ;D

We have a fly-in lake north of basset, manitoba. It's been four years and have really not had any real action, no grunting bulls, we see and hear moose, and lots of tracks and crap but no moose. Bluewater air service was telling one guy we talked to they were hauling out lots of moose. the guy we talked to said the moose they shot on our lake last year was just standing in a clearing, so they didn't call it in either.

I do have a theory on why no bulls come in, I think there are too many cows, why chase the chicken if you have beef on your plate ;)
