I am going to check out the green mountain national forest area too. I am planning on camping for a few days. I might take a ride up next weekend to get my license, so I am going to check things out a little. thanks tor the info, buddy and good luck this Spring!

Yeah I going to head up around corinth and barre. Bowhunted there years ago and did see alot of turkeys. There is alot of agriculture up that area too. I am headed up there this weekend to get my license and maybe take a ride around some areas looking around for some potential spots. I took a nice tom 3 years ago in NH (my first) about 19.5 lbs and a 10 inch beard. took another the next year, and then another last year. Been seeing a bunch right down the road from my house. I wanted to try VT this year seeing how I have a little extra money for a license. Plus you can shoot two birds there. Maybe this will extend my season.
