What a little age can do.
« on: Aug 29, 2004, 08:17:53 AM »
These are pictures of a fawn that was picked up along the road in Bradford Co. Pennsylvania.  The owners have a breeders license and raised the deer in captivity.  The buck is now 6 1/2 years old, last weighed this spring at 320lbs. and as of Aug. 15 sported 8 points and a 25 1/2"inside spread, 14" G 2's and 10 3/8" bases in velvet.  This deer is expected to break the Boone and Crockett minimun of 170 inches this year as a typical 8 point.  This deer does not benefit from some of this areas better genetics as he has never grown more than 8 points, imagine if he did!

Let em' go, let em' grow!  I wish I had the pics of this bucks first 3 spindly racks, you wouldn't believe it was the same deer.
