Our plan was to start driving out a ravine in the morning.The drivers walked in to a cornfield bordering the ravine to wait for light.
As soon as it was light enough to see a deer waked in the field,and they said BUCK!!!!!Chalk one 5 pointer up for the drivers...
After gutting,they hit the woods to push the ravine up to us.We could actualy see the drivers when 8 doe busted out,and all passed safely by us with No doe tags in hand...
Then the last deer that came out had horns and ran right up to my nephew.
Here he is proud of his first ever deer,a 6 point..
Heres the 2 bucks we got together.This was his first buck ever also (Not deer),dont ever count the drivers out of the game.
We hunted hard afterwards but were not rewarded,but the 7 of us left the woods very happy today with our success.
