Good weekend of hunting solo
« on: Nov 01, 2010, 10:49:37 AM »
The daughters were busy all weekend with Halloween activities so I had a chance to get out and do some hunting for myself.

Went pheasant hunting Saturday morning and shot three pheasants and two huns with the "A" Team and then went elk hunting in the afternoon and shot a decent six point bull.

Pretty fun Saturday!

Hope everyone is enjoying good success this year, hope to be posting some pictures of the ladies in actions soon!

Thanks, Zimmer!

How's the shoulder healing up?

Any chance of some late season magic or are you shutdown for the rest of the year?

Nice work!! I knew it wouldn't be long!  8)

To be honest, I was getting a little worried.   I'd been putting on the miles and the time in and hadn't seen any shooter bulls.

Saw some small five's but that was about it.

Found this guy hiding in a little hole way down low.   Don't know what he was doing there but he sure felt safe.   Looked like he'd been in there for several days to a week or so.

Was able to sneak up to about 300 yards and drilled him a few times.   Wasn't sure exactly where I was hitting him so I kept shooting.   I should have stopped after #1.
