Daughter's 2009 Elk Season X 2!
« on: Nov 02, 2009, 05:54:59 PM »
Took my oldest daughter (14 yrs old) hunting this weekend.   She shot a spike on Saturday and had an additional A-9 Anterless Tag so we went back out Sunday.

Here's the spike she shot Saturday

Here's the cow she shot Sunday

She shot the spike bedded at 185 yards with one shot and the cow at a little over 200 yards.
She put an insurance one (unneeded, as it turns out) in her also.   Pretty good shooting and her third and fourth elk in three years.
