Well heading to the archery shop . Picked up some 11.3gr. Per in arrows for my bison hunt.
They are going to set up a all bison video tech no hunt for me to practice a bit .
Cant wait to start hunting !!!!
Just waiting for the migration from Yellowstone National Park...
Just need lots of snow !!

What a blast to shoot the tech no hunt. Im shooting about 75% bullseyes.. just need a bit more practice .
Looked on the weather for my hunt area ...West Yellowstone Mt....-21 this morning ..burrr. hope it warms up a bit not sure i can pull the bow back in -20 temp.

Bow for the buffalo is probably a good way to go! I never really thought about that. Good Luck. When is your tag good for?

It starts Nov. 15 till Jan. 15
I have a post on IceShanty to. Hoping somebody is driving through and spots some and lets me know.
I feel good shooting out to 50 yrds. But i dont want to make a bad shot ..I will have a backup gun with me. The fish and game want bow hunters too...

Weather forecast for West says cold and snow. Them big shaggies should be moving soon!

My wife has her tags left ...heading out this afternoon for a hike.
Maybe sunday head down to get the area checked out . I was told around Horse Butte...not sure about that area will get my map and gps. and try to get it figured out.
I have a pull sled for packing out, no snomobile so far.
getting excited for this hunt ...this critter is very Big !!!!

Well i took my son to the archery shop and we shot the tech no hunt . He had a blast we shot all buffalo to practice for the hunt . Looks like im improving ..lot more bullseye today .

Well just heard the Buffalo are starting to migrate out of Yellowstone Park !!!!!!
Going to shoot my bow today !! Im pumped up a Wild free range Buffalo with my bow !!!!!

Heading out in the morning picking up a buddy in Bozeman and heading to West Yellowstone.
Hope to get the area figured out with the gps. Fish and Game has a post that they have seen some bison out of the Park area .
well i will post any findings.

you sure are living the dream as well as mine in Montana.....good luck...I love west yellowstone....we were real close to the earthquake lake area and it was awesome

Well it was a great trip found out two Bison were already taken . There was 10" plus on the ground and it was still snowing when we left. Looks like snow for the week everyday. I will try to come back on saturday after thanksgiving to do the hunt .
I will bring the family for a great hunt. 😊😊😊

Well talked to a local yesterday and he told me there is no Bison out yet....

I just love that area.....Hope you get a big one.....we had bison walk right by my car and we could touch them...they were that close......and of course I did touch - ....oooppps did I say that

LOL ....Just came back from the market with my wife ....WOW didnt realize buffalo was 13.99 a pound for burger .
I think i will save every piece of meat !!!
Im ready for the trip !!! Cant wait to bite into a big steak .....

Still trying for a Bison !!!
Pick up some extra spotters in my hunting area ....just need the weather change to happen.
Hell I took the Harley out for a spin yesterday...it was 61 in town.. ;D
I still have time to get the big shaggy ...

Im gong crazy waiting for some bad weather...
We are heading back east for X mas ...4000 mile trip with 6 of us and two small dogs.I have a crew cab and putting on the cab over camper for extra room.
Hope when we come back the Bison are out for the winter.

Well im back from the looong road trip ...great to see family .

I heard they are.almost out of the Park ..maybe by this weekend we can headdown for the hunt.

Guess i stand corrected ..my buddy in WestYellowstone sent me a message last night that it was -37 temp.
the Bison are getting closer and closer. They will migrate out to hang by the road to soak up the heat ...guess the sun warms it up and they lay on the road to get the warmth ...

I just loved seeing them on the road, walking and mozing then plop down to rest.. :o :o ..see a few of them tearing up a few trees (not tiny ones) I even got to touch one as it walked by my truck. ::) ::) ::) ...of course I didnt just admit to that but it was awesome none the less. 8)...cannot wait to go back but for now....get one and tell me tell me telllllll mmmmeeeee.. :'( :'( ...enjoy be safe and keep warm for cripes sakes ;) ;)
