I've heard of some nice bucks having been taken but for the most part Area 3D numbers are down for bucks and does are getting tough to come by in more than a few parts of this area.  The Game Commission just doesn't get it, they need to stop slaughtering all the does.  I don't care how many bucks you have, if you don't have does you will never have a fawn.  I really think they screwed up and are headed to dessimating the deer herd even more than it already has been by Gary Alt and the continuing of his brilliant ideas to kill thousands of does.   :'(

   thanks   my boy is 16 now so he wanted to pick and sit in his own spot this year i was a little bummed wish i could have been there with him but it was great seeing his excitement after the fact .
  Chris those bucks came from the southern end of 3c you're  right about the deer #'s though, my thought is do only 1 run of doe permits and forget about the bonus tags just my 2 cents

     he sure did lol  he was done at 7 am  first one in  the gang to shoot . he made a pretty good shot to about 100 yards deer never knew what hit him !
