I almost forgot I had these pics on the camera. Thought they would have turned out better than they did. The camera always wants auto focus on stuff that is closer than the object I want to take a pic of. These are from last weekend at the canal hunting spot. Never seen so many gobblers and jakes in one group in Maryland. Must have been at least 12 and I didnt see one hen in the group. ??? The first gobbler was limping pretty bad.

Sounds like you have a good flock to hunt. Shame about the auto focus but looks like some nice toms.

Head color is coming on quite nicely ; Haven't seen any fanned out yet around hear ;D

I'm getting ready for some toms myself; want to get one camera set up at last year's spot later in the month.
