i miss my old hound chelsea, had to give her away, best rabbit dog in the world, only 16lbs, fast, and could find a rabbit on the bottom of the ocean she was so good

My rabbit dog  Sam a.k.a. "Sick em Sam" he's only a year and seven months old but has gotten more than his share of rabbits already. Had him out in the field by the time he was 3 months old to start training and a month later he kept it together long enough to find a rabbit and flush it to where I had a shot. He's the fastest basset hound I have seen and is solid muscle. He's also turned out to be a great upland bird dog and seems to need a reminder if he sees a pheasant while out looking for rabbits or his attention goes to the birds  8) waiting on the snow to melt down a bit and snow goose season to start to get him back out in the field and see how well his retrieving training has come along for retrieving the snow geese. Last fall he out performed my buddy's beagle the last trip out for rabbits, but he has been training his dog all winter so we will see if the basset is still top dog in a few weeks  ;D
Don't have any pictures of him in the field. Too busy hunting and always forget to snap a picture but here's one of him enjoying icefishing with my fiancé
