Crock Pot Goose
« on: Dec 17, 2011, 12:47:51 PM »
Just got done cubing goose breasts into bite size pieces, then browned them off. Tomorrow will cook in beef  broth and onions and what ever spices I decide on,  for about 4 hours in the crock pot , then add REAL Wild Rice to finish it off . Damm that goose will fall apart in your mouth

I like to make shredded bbq goose sandwiches.  slice up an onion or two and put it in the crockpot. put your goose breast on top of the onion. put whatever spices you like on top, followed by a can of beef broth and a can of beer. cook on low for 8-10 hours. let cool and shredd with a fork. mix with your favorite bbq sauce and heat through. awesome sandwiches on kaiser rolls .
