i have some meat in the frig, i got snapping turtle, Squirrel, and some pheasant... my buddies got a dehydrator do i need to prep the meats in any other ways other then slicing in thin strips? i would also like to make trout/salmon jerky maybe??? Thanks in adv. –moose

Yes the meat needs to be cured and seasoned go to your local grocery store or a cableas gander mountain or any other store like these and they should have many options.
