I have lacrosse. Work well (only been through a season of duck hunting and a weekend on salmon river) check Rogers sporting goods websit they usually have some decent deals on different hunting stuff that's where I got mine

I have been running Cabelas TI 1200 waders for the last 5 years. They have been amazing. they have armor flex in them and they are TOUGH. a little warm but never been cold. breaking ice to set decoys and setting in the icey water has never been a problem. The wife has been running Cabelas Ultimate Waders for 3 seasons. no probs yet. as for early season you may want to go with 3 milll. Hope this helps.

Hard to beat the cabellas waders ive had mine for 7or8 years and use them for everything from duck hunting to putting in the docks and have had no problems with them. Not sure which model they are but they have kevlar or something like it in all the right places..I used to get maybe 2 years if i was lucky out of the other brands..

Are the "neopreen" waders as good as they say they are and what's a good all around thickness for early spring to late fall?

I spend a lot of time in Waders in the fall. All our harvest is done in the water. We were buying the Neoprene stocking foot waders and they were far better than regular old rubber chest waders but still the seams would give up after a couple of seasons. ( we are walking all day) I switched to These

A few years ago and am impressed with the durability and comfort. The suspenders don't have buckles so no issues when shouldering a gun. I get 5mm.

No idea how they will work out long-term, but Cabela's is also heavily pushing their new single strap waders for waterfowlers.  The only strap is on your off-shoulder, so no interferences with shouldering a shotgun.
