well steve i had a poacher shoot the birds i put to bed the night before the opener on opening day.i was scared to death with the shooting in the dark and pissed beyond words.i hope ya beat him there.!!!

cant wait to git me a freak nasty jelly head this spring!!!! Buying a new vest today actually gotta practice the mouth call more any tips or advice?

As low as they were doing that we still got a bird down opening morning maybe we can aquire the 300 acres and be set bounce around only when we have to

Put a couple trail cams out last weekend..looking for the perfect spot for a blind!  Guess I found it, this is from yesterday! A lot better than last year we had 2ft of snow on this date....

Picture came out real good, did you have him there more than the one day? I may check my camera this weekend, or tomorrow if I go to the 22 shoot and leave early enough. Should be logging 72 pictures a day, I want to make sure it's getting a good view of the pasture. Won't have great pics because of the distance.

Yep have him several times on the camera as well as other hens and a group of 3 Jakes.  The other camera about 1/8 mile down the mowed trail also showed them just not the good display pic!  The Cottonwoods they roost in are about 1/2 mile away...Had about 30 pics on each camera a lot of them were deer.

        That Cudde Back sure takes a nice picture, lots of tall grass for that bird to get lost in.
