Season is open here, but I have not been after them, I saw them the night before the season opened while bow hunting, but had to let them go.  I will get one one of these days either hunting turkeys or hunting something else and running into them.

went after them a few times, but nothing yet.  Just had my mother call me and tell me that their field is full of them right now.  She is just rubbing it in.

Ditto! I'll be out there.
I find the fall season more challenging, but for some reason have had better success.

Well, it's opening day for turkeys here in WNY.
I went out for an hour before the monsoon hit, but everything was holed up.  >:(
Maybe tomorrow will be better.  ???

I got a nice gobbler the afternoon, 15lbs & 7-1/4" beard, not a huge
bird, but a nice one. Now I can pick on the walleyes.

heard something strange the other day while out bow hunting. especially for this time of yr. i heard and saw 3 toms walking and gobbling. if it was spring i would say that this is normal but for this time of yr ??? has anyone ever seen o heard turkeys gobble in the fall b-4. i guess i could chalk it up to the crows if the were squaking but they were not,
