Just love to hunt any thing. But I am sure gearing up for spring turkey in Manitoba, Canada. Shooting my bow couple of hours a day and dreaming of the answer to the call.

I saw a tom today all puffed up and strutting with a bunch of hens. His head had already turned blue and white. Seems early for here in Maine.

Just got a new box call that I've been practising with.  I need to do some scouting because the three flocks that are usually around where I hunt seemed to have disappeared?  I saw very little turkey sign while deer hunting and haven't seen more than a 1/2 dozen since deer season ended.

By the way Turkeyman05, I'm hunting in the southern portion of WNY.
Their comin' right for us!

I am so psyched! Today was the lottery drawing at a local State Park.
I'm pretty sure I got a permit, but I have to wait until Monday to find out which area.

Scouting is the name of the game, NH.
It's a great time of the year to go hiking, anyway...
You've only got a few weeks.
