Title: Finally!!now im getting pumped
Post by: dan_lais on Apr 11, 2014, 04:17:37 PM: Saw my first strutter today and heard my first gobble of the season while we were out tending to our ground blinds today.wow that really got the blood flowing.19 days and a wake up and ill be in my spot praying for one to walk into range.anyone else getting the itch bad??

Post by: Montana89 on Apr 15, 2014, 12:36:15 PM: Iv been getting lots of gobbles to my calls. That sure gets the blood pumping. Located 3 Jakes and tons of hens so far. Got one jake too about 30 yards yesterday. Passed him up though, going for the prize this year. I'm onto some more gobbles in another location. Haven't layed eyes on him yet but I'm hoping its the Tom I'm looking for. I'm newer to turkey hunting and I have the itch bad lol

my son and i went sunday and never seen a bird ...
he said to me that we were the only turkeys out on a day like this ...wind 30 plus and snow . Guess i was just excited to see him bag his first turkey!!!
