I put out some moose parts from a local butcher on sunday. Well I got up at 3:30 this am to work on my sons deer rifle as he will be home on leave from the Army on Saturday. While sitting at my desk my alarm goes off indicating that something is on the bait pile. I thought great shooting coyotes at night is not allowed this time of year without another special permit  :'( so all I can do is listen to the beeper go off and hope it comes back at day break  :-\ :'( :'( :'( :'(

How has the coyote hunting been this winter for you guys. We set a bait pile of butcher scraps just inside the tree line five days ago and havent seen any sign yet. We have access to a great hunters cabin 12 feet off the ground with a wood stove overloking a nice bog about 150yds across and 250yds wide.Any advice would be great.
Its not a lie if you believe it
